Irvine - Level 1-3 Class
Service Description
Level 1-3 classes are designed for students aged 4-7, and are predominately focused on building. They are one hour long. Level 01 classes are designed for students aged 4-6, and are a great introduction to the field of STEM. In level 01 classes, students will learn about creating stable structures and using multiple point connections. They will then apply these skills onto hands-on LEGO builds, creating builds such as windmills, monuments, and transportation vessels. Level 01 classes are one hour long, meet once a week, and usually take place from 2:30-3:30. Students aged 4-5 with no prior robotics experience will usually begin at Level 01. Level 02 classes are designed for students aged 4-6, and are a great way to build upon the lessons of level 01. In level 02 classes, students will learn about different types of pegs, balancing weight, using levers, and stabilizing builds. They will then apply these skills onto hands-on LEGO builds, creating builds such as city vehicles, racecars, and Ferris wheels. At level 02, students begin using basic motors. Level 02 classes are one hour long, take place once a week, and usually take place from 2:30-3:30. Level 03 classes are designed for students aged 5-7, and are the conclusion to the building section of classes. In level 03 classes, students will continue their use of motors, while also learning about gear boxes and scissor lifts. They will then apply these skills onto hands-on LEGO builds, creating builds such as handcuffs, draw bridges, and ships. Level 03 classes are one hour long, take place once a week, and usually take place from 2:30-3:30. Students aged 6 with no prior robotics experience will usually begin at Level 03
