Wes is a UCLA graduate with over four years of experience teaching robotics. In 2023, Wes led his FLL Explore team to the World Championship in Houston, Texas. He brings a positive attitude and a wealth of fun and knowledge to teach every class.
Alex Beatty
Curriculum Coordinator

Alex Beatty is a CSUCI graduate with over seven years of experience teaching robotics. In 2024, Alex led his FLL Challenge team to the World Championship in Houston, Texas. Through interaction with hundreds of students over the years, Alex has fostered a unique understanding of what it takes to teach STEM to the next generation of engineers.
Emir Altug
Lead Robotics Instructor

Emir Altug has over six years of experience teaching robotics. He has had several robotics teams that qualified for regional championships. His goal is to spark interest for robotics and engineering in the young minds of today by having fun and inspiring class sessions that anyone can enjoy.
Carlos Serrano
CAD and CNC Instructor

Carlos plays a vital role in supporting our educational programs. He is an alumni of the FRC Team 4711, in which he was the Vice President. He's also an aspiring mechanical engineering student at ventura college. You can find him tinkering or coming up with new designs and innovative designs.
Nathan Choi
Java & FTC Instructor
Agoura Hills
Nathan Choi is a FTC veteran with over 10 years of FTC experience. He has coached many FLL and FTC teams to successful World Championship appearances. He has also had 2 separate FTC World Championship appearances where his team advanced to the division semifinals each time. He also studied Software Engineering at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
Joseph Pennock
FLL & FTC Instructor
Agoura Hills
Joseph Pennock is a FTC and FLL Alumni with over 10 years of experience. His extensive work in both programs have resulted in 4 National Championships as well his team being the 2022-2023 FTC World Champions. He currently studies Electrical Engineering and Applied Physics at Walla Walla University doing research on racecar prototypes.
Ada MacLeod
Graphic Designer & Robotics Instructor

Ada MacLeod is an engineering student at Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology. As a former FLL participant, she is excited about helping kids discover and explore STEM through the world of robotics.
Gerardo Escobedo
Robotics Instructor

Gerardo Escobedo is an electrical engineering student at Pierce College. He has experience as a behavioral technician, and is passionate about spreading his love for STEM to the next generation.
