Irvine Competition - FTC

Service Description

First Tech Challenge is a competition designed for students 12-18. During the FTC season, teams of 5-15 will be given a a new robot challenge. Based on this challenge, teams attempt to solve the problems by of building, coding, and computer-aided design, while iterating on their project. On top of building and competing with the robot, students are encouraged to connect with experts to aid them in their designs and problems that may occur. They will also be tasked with providing outreach to the community to spread their knowledge of STEM and promote robotics to their community. Teams will then compete in a League based system where they compete with and against other teams and present their robot and story in front of a panel of expert judges. Students are all vying for a spot at the World Championships hosted in Houston, TX every year!
