Service Description
Half day Python Camp: 9:30-12:00, Monday--Friday, early drop off at 9am. Personal laptop needed. Age 10+ Goal: Build a fully functional Python arcade program that includes multiple mini-games (like Tic-Tac-Toe, rock paper scissors, etc.), while strengthening problem-solving, logic, and real coding skills. Students will gain hands-on experience with real programming concepts while building the confidence to create their own projects independently. What they should know before: ● Understand variables and basic data types (int, string, boolean) ● Use if/else statements ● Know basic loops (for, while) ● Be able to run Python programs What they will learn: Core Skills: ● Functions (organizing code) ● Lists & dictionaries ● Nested logic ● Input validation ● Debugging techniques Intermediate Concepts: ● Game logic design ● State tracking (turns, scores, etc.) ● Modular programming (splitting into parts) ● Basic user interface (Buttons) Advanced (for their level): ● 2D lists (for grids like Tic-Tac-Toe) ● Simple AI (random moves, basic strategy) ● Reusable code structure
