LeXT Community & Outreach
City Council
We are grateful that many of our LeXT competition teams have been able to present their research to the Agoura Hills and Westlake Village city councils. These memorable experiences teach students the importance of interacting with public officials. It also prepares students for public speaking.
Giving Back
At LeXT, we believe that it is important to give back to our community. Because of this, we require that our FTC teams perform outreach and volunteer work. Throughout the years, this had included work with non-profit organizations, local libraries, and underpriveliged students.
Local Schools
LeXT Robo Academy is proud to work with schools all over the greater Agoura Hills-Thousand Oaks area. Since 2022, we have been teaching STEM education and coaching the FLL teams of St. Jude the Apostle School in Westlake Village, California. From 2021-2022, we taught weekly robotics classes at Hillcrest Elementary School in Thousand Oaks, California. We regularly attend local science fairs at schools such as Brookside and Oak Hills elementary
