What is FTC?
FIRST Tech Challenge students learn to think like engineers. Teams design, build, manufacture and compete with their robots, raise funds, design and market their team brand, and do community outreach to earn specific awards. Participants are also eligible to apply for $80M+ in college scholarships.
Why FTC?
We are offering FIRST Tech Challenge to our students in order to teach them valuable and practical life skills from Computer Aided Design (CAD) to java programming to teamwork.

Specifics:
Lets face it, in order to do this we need some very expensive equipment that we don’t have yet. For us to cover the costs of the machinery we need your help, our current estimates of just this equipment is close to 7,000 dollars. Currently we are only providing this class at the Agoura Hills location.
Season Details:
Our sessions start in early June and ends in March.
Main sessions will be on Sundays (time tbd)
June 6 – early August: Designing parts and learning solidworks, and understanding game strategy.
Early August: Kick Off, new game and rules are released.
October – February: Qualifying tournaments and scrimmages.
March: State Championships
